I hadn’t planned on talking much today about the White House Correspondents Dinner. I think that, thanks to the current White House occupant, it’s worn out its welcome. He turns everything ugly, even what used to be a funny, irreverent event. Irreverence is not allowed in the orange white house. But what happened Saturday night was not funny at all. A shooter attempted to do some damage. Thankfully no one was really hurt, but there was damage done. Jonathan Larsen of both The Fucking News and the Jonathan Larsen Substack Newsletters are back today too talk a bit about it.
