New stories arrive automatically every few hours from trusted local and national sources.
Step 1 – Choose Your Location
Click the π All button in the lower-left corner. Type a place name like Seattle and click it. The page refreshes showing only news from that location. Your choice is remembered next time you visit.
Step 2 – Set Your Sources (Optional)
Click the green Filters button to open the full filter panel. Under Source Group choose a preset like Seattle Local, Pacific Northwest, or National Politics.
Step 3 – Fetch
Once your filters are set, click Fetch to reload the page with your choices applied.
The Buttons
- Fetch – saves your location and reloads with filtered news
- Clear – clears your pending selection so you can start over
- X All – resets back to showing all locations
Reading an Article
Each card shows the source, date, and location tag. Click Read full article to open the original story. Click a location tag on any article to filter by that location instantly.
Tips
- New stories come in every few hours – check back regularly
- Location tags on articles are clickable
- Want everything back? Click X All in the location picker
