InvestigateWest’s Thy Vo selected for national editor training program

InvestigateWest editor Thy Vo is among 11 journalists selected for ProPublica’s 2026 Investigative Editor Training Program, a competitive national program designed to strengthen editors doing accountability journalism with real-world impact.

The program, established in 2023, includes a five-day intensive boot camp in New York led by ProPublica senior editors, followed by a year of professional development and mentorship. 

Vo, who joined InvestigateWest in June 2025 as an investigations editor, joins a cohort that includes editors and newsroom leaders from The New York Times, The Boston Globe, NPR, CNN and other local news outlets.
