Giant gold Trump statue unveiled at Florida golf course | LBC

A giant, 22-foot golden statue of US President Donald Trump has been unveiled at one of his Florida golf courses.

The statue stands on a pedestal in a clearing of palm trees, with its fist thrust defiantly into the air, echoing his pose after being shot in the ear.

Pastor Mark Burns, Donald Trump’s ‘spiritual adviser’ spoke at the unveiling ceremony:

“Today at Trump National Doral Miami, we witnessed an unforgettable moment,” Burns wrote on social media before emphasising that the gilded effigy was not a false idol.

“Let me be clear: this is not a golden calf, this statue is a celebration of life. It is a symbol of resilience, freedom, patriotism, strength, and the will power to keep fighting for the future of America.”
