Corporate media just can’t quit Trump!

Hey friends, hope you’re having A wonderful weekend. Let’s jump on live at 8:30 pm ET for tonight’s Community Meeting.

I’d like to discuss the White House Correspondents Dinner, and how corporate media just can’t quit Trump! They normalize him, even as he does everything in his power to destroy the fourth estate. He calls journalists “the enemy of the people,” he endangers them by posting not-so-thinly-veiled calls to violence to his supporters, and he has his Department of Justice abuse its prosecutorial power to threaten, intimidate, and harass reporters, and news outlets. And yet, corporate media invites the orange autocrat to join them for a “lovely” dinner

To this old journalism major (undergrad), that is the exact opposite of what news outlets SHOULD be doing to combat an aspiring American dictator.

I’ll also talk about the one year I opted to attend the White House correspondents’ Dinner. And no, Trump did not attend.
