Hey friends, it’s opening statement time! Let’s jump on live at 8:30 pm ET to continue our discussion of the double homicide case we discussed during Monday’s meeting: the murders of Arthur Baldwin, Jr. and Devonte Washington.

If you missed Monday’s meeting, feel free to go back and watch the video (posted on my Substack feed) so you will have the information about how the two murders were committed and how we managed to consolidate the two murders into one trial.

As I mentioned on Monday, I came across my opening statement as I was going through boxes of old murder cases I prosecuted over the years, and at tonight’s meeting, I’ll give my opening statement just as I would have given it to the jury when I was prosecuting the case.

Hope to see you at 8:30 pm ET.

Below are pictures of the victims: US Secret Service officer, Arthur Baldwin, Jr. and 15-year-old high school student Devonte Washington.
