Vote to Save Democracy. A Conversation with Sherrilyn Ifill
Keeps playing with the screen off. The episode is played from PoliticsGirlβs own podcast host.
Todayβs guest Sherrilyn Ifill reminds us that nothing we do to help our country right now is wasted. Itβs time we really decided who we are and who we want to be. We are drowning in moral decay in America right now and itβs demoralizing. The weakness and willingness for so many of our fellow citizens to choose the path of least resistance has led us to a place where this upcoming election is existential. It is everything. The opposition needs to win to simply keep our heads above water. It is up to all of us to not only save us with our votes now, but stay engage in the days and years to come to build something better than what weβve ever had. As Sherrilyn says, βThe founders of tomorrow are among us today.β We have to help them, be them, and support them. Now is not the time for nialism, now is the time for action.
