A Judge in Washington, DC, just dismissed the bogus prosecution of 67-year-old former Olympian David Hearn for allegedly damaging the reflecting pool liner. Of course we would come to learn that the reason the pool liner failed was because Donald Trump gave not just one but two no-bid contracts to his cronies who turned out to be incompetent to do the job.

The Judge didn’t just dismissed the case, he dismissed the case β€œwith prejudice.” The reason I characterize the judges ruling as “punishing” the Department of Justice is because a β€œwith prejudice” designation is very rare and is generally only deployed by a judge to punish governmental misconduct, exactly as was present in the Hearn prosecution.

I’ll be breaking it all down with the great Adam Klasfeld of live at 5:30 pm ET.
