Another reason to fight for the future of America . . .
Today’s travelstack: Vienna, Austria, is awash in beauty, history, and grandeur.Β
From Italy to Croatia to Austria, Niloo and I have had the good fortune to talk in some depth with lots of people about their work, their lives, their aspirations, and their views of today’s America.Β
It’s become apparent that our neighbors around the globe have a clear-eyed view of just how bad, just how corrupt, and just how hateful Trump and his cabal of corrupt cronies are. Yet interestingly, this has not dampened people’s determination to travel to the United States. The people we talked with who have visited America before, talk of how they’d love to return. Those who have never been there express a strong desire to visit the U.S. for the first time.Β
We are all fighting Trump’s autocracy, corruption, depravity, bigotry, and hate, all day, every day. We have no choice. We have children and grandchildren who will be living in tomorrow’s America. But what has surprised me during this trip is how the hopes and aspirations of our friends around the globe actually add yet another dimension to my inspiration and determination to keep fighting the corrupt Trump regime.Β
And keep fighting, we will.
And we will prevail.
And then . . . accountability.Β
