In this episode of Legal AF, Ray Brescia talks to Danielle M. Conway, the dean and Donald J. Farage professor of law at Penn State Dickinson Law.  She is also the current President of the Association of American Law Schools (AALS), which represents over 200 law schools from across the United States. Dean Conway discusses the critical role that law schools and the legal profession must play in facing the present existential threats to the rule of law, democratic institutions, and the shared values of equality and justice for all. In this role, she has said that she believes that “every day is a good day to stand up for the rule of law and to lean into the work to sustain it for the benefit of current and future generations of people who deserve to inherent a more just society.” In this conversation, Brescia and Conway explore the ways that law schools, the legal profession, and every American can stand up for the critical values that this nation adopted in its Second Founding with the passage of the 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
