“President Donald Trump is being roasted after revealed his new nickname for the Democratic Party.

And the president also divulged who inspired the moniker, the New York Post reports.

“I came up with a new name. I don’t know if I should,” Trump said during an interview with Fox News anchor Sean Hannity on Thursday.

“Dumocrats — because they’re dumb,” Trump said.

The commander-in-chief had to explain that his moniker does away with the “b” in “dumb.””
