In Everett,Β WA,Β inΒ aΒ nondescriptΒ alleyway, JaxenΒ β€œSnacks” McInnis created the world’s first snack museum in hisΒ slenderΒ one-car garage.Β Boxes of special edition Twinkies,Β cans of novelty sodas,Β and potato chips in every imaginable flavor, from countries around the world, areΒ stacked from floor-to-ceiling atΒ TheΒ Snackin’ Shack.Β It’sΒ a vibrant display of nostalgia, popΒ cultureΒ and questionable flavor combinations.Β Jaxon also sells a small selection of snacks, so you can satisfy yourΒ cravingsΒ for Sour Patch Kids OreosΒ or Taiwanese Thick Cut Grilled Ribs Lays.Β Β

For the lastΒ 12 years,Β Warnessa Victoria’sΒ cultΒ cafe, Lizzie Lou’s Too, was quietly tucked away inside theΒ FifeΒ DestinationΒ Harley Davidson – no sign out front, no menu on the website.Β But her impossibly creamy,Β flavorful shrimp and grits got people talking, andΒ chairs filled up thanks to word of mouth.Β TheΒ dealership was recentlyΒ soldΒ andΒ unfortunatelyΒ Lizzie Lou’sΒ was forced to close, but she’s looking for a new location in the South Sound.
