Pete Buttigieg Holds Town Hall Event in Oklahoma

Former Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg held a town hall in Tulsa Saturday night.

The Win the Era Town Hall was held at the Will Rogers Middle and High School Athletic Center. The event featured a discussion aimed at uniting people and getting them encouraged to do work in their communities.

During the town hall, Buttigieg spoke about the financial burdens people are facing such as the costs of gas and healthcare.

“You’re not alone if you believe in a fairer tax code when it doesn’t make sense when they say we can’t afford good roads and rural hospitals while we have billionaires paying less than those nurses, those road workers, and those teachers in school,” said Buttigieg.
