WATCH: “the time of monsters” — Norway tells UN Israel’s impunity must end

Norway ‘s foreign minister has demanded an end to Israel’s impunity for its crimes. In a speech to the UN General Assembly, Espen Barth Eide quoted Italian philosopher Antonio Gramsci’s pre-WWII warning that “Now is the time of monsters”, adding that the “dark political, social and ideological phenomena” that frightened Gramsci are very much present now.

Norway — Clear culprits

And he made clear that he is talking about Israel and the US, condemning the colony’s impunity for its crimes and the “growing belief that power matters more than principle. a growing temptation to seek national advantage at the expense of common rules”. He points out, rightly, that “double standards are equal to no standards”.
