July 4th weekend prompts PACC to resume regular intakes

Pima Animal Care Center, which limited intakes for weeks after a distemper outbreak killed one dog, will be taking in pets as normal again after July 4. The holiday has historically seen the highest number of stray dogs turned into the shelter each year.
