In pictures: Jewish anti-genocide activists lead London march for Palestine
The UK establishment continues to demonise and repress anti-genocide protest. But Jewish activists against genocide and apartheid were, as usual, at the forefront of the giant march for Palestine in London yesterday, 18 July 2026. All images are courtesy of activist photographer βBetterThanReal.β
Oi Burnham β be better!
Marchers celebrated the departure of now-ex PM Keir Starmer and challenged his successor Andy Burnham over his own links to the Israel lobby and whether he will be any better:
Genocide: βBought and paid forβ
Protesters carried giant banknotes linking Starmerβs ministers and advisers to Israel-linked donations, and the UKβs collaboration in Israelβs Gaza genocide:
Zionism is racism
They reminded onlookers of the fundamentally racist nature of an ideology that approves the theft and colonisation of a land from its indigenous people β and of the bloodshed it inevitably causes:
Collusion in Genocide
And they opposed UK collaboration in the illegal US-Israel war, while former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn reminded the crowd of the extent of UK-Israel collusion:
Free Palestine. End Israelβs genocide and occupation.
