Elderly woman dies after heat exposure on hike in Tucson Mountains

A 75-year-old woman died at a hospital after she suffered from heat exposure and was airlifted from a popular hiking trail west of Tucson on Tuesday morning by the Pima County Sheriff’s Department. An extreme heat warning remains in effect through Thursday.
