A federal judge ruled that Donald Trump had no authority to rename the Kennedy Center and ordered all references to his name removed from the historic institution. The court also blocked efforts to close the facility for a year-long renovation. Roland Martin argued the ruling exposed Trump’s attempt to act as though he could unilaterally control a national institution that ultimately belongs to the American people and is governed by federal law.
